Execution of hung Layher scaffold, hoist installation for the lead furnace refractory works, detailed design, and engineering of scaffolding to ensure the tight onsite timeframes were achieved for the shutdown. Through the design phase, Paragon identified the benefit of introducing “nozzle” penetrations to increase efficiency and decrease program duration for this and future shutdown executions.
